Troubleshooting - Camera and Mic Issues

1) Chrome and Safari display your camera status on the right hand side of the address bar. If the camera is blocked it will show a red cross next to the camera.

Click the camera icon to change the permissions for your event venue

2) Choosing the correct microphone and camera

Check the correct microphone and camera are selected using the small arrows at the bottom of the video window:

3) Testing your camera and microphone in the Lobby

To test your camera and microphone click the VIDEO icon at the top right of the screen.

This will open a dialogue that allows you to select and test your camera and microphone before entering a discussion or social room.

If this is the first time you have used your camera and microphone on the site you will be prompted to allow access. Click Allow when prompted.

4) To reset camera and/or microphone permissions:

If your camera and/or microphone aren’t working it might be because digital delegate has been denied access by the browser.

Reset or update the permissions using the instructions below:

5) Safari asks me for camera and microphone permissions every time I enter a room or return to the venue

This is a known issue in Safari. To reduce the number of times Safari prompts for permissions
